What's the best way to revise required practicals?+
Learn the method as a sequence of steps, then the safety considerations and the typical sources of error. Examiners ask for evaluation as often as recall.
Do I need to memorise the periodic table?+
No, but you should know group trends (reactivity in Group 1 and 7), the position of metals vs non-metals, and common ion charges.
Is A-Level Chemistry much harder than GCSE?+
It builds on the same foundations but goes much deeper into mechanisms, equilibria and quantitative analysis. Strong algebra and consistent practice are essential.
